Refer article ‘A futile survival attempt in J&K’ DE Nov 24, 2018.
While going through the article, one comes to the conclusion that the author has tried to put blame on three political parties- NC, Congress and PDP for the present mess in J&K. The truth is that every party including BJP and People’s Conference are responsible for the situation the State presently is in. No political party wants to govern the State with sincerity and dedication. Every politician is merely looking after his vested interests to be achieved through fair or foul means.
The coming together of NC, Congress and PDP with a political agenda brings fore their political opportunism and nothing else. The allegations and counter allegations by these politicians have vitiated the whole political atmosphere in the State. Besides, it has further widened the gap between Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir. The polarisation that is underway in all the three regions is not going to do any good to the people of these regions.
The political leadership of all the regions must understand the repurcussions of playing dirty politics. The Central Government too must play a positive role in shaping the future of this strife torn State.

Traffic to ply from Jammu to Srinagar for 2nd consecutive day, no vehicle from Kashmir

💻Jk News info 📰 Only Jammu to Srinagar traffic was allowed for the second consecutive day on Saturday on the National Highway, connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country, a traffic police official said. Two-way traffic has been restored on the national highway, which connects Ladakh region with Kashmir while only one-way traffic will continue on historic 86-km-long Mughal road, seen as alternative to Srinagar-Jammu national highway. Traffic official said for the second consecutive day today, only Jammu to Srinagar traffic was allowed. No vehicle will be allowed from opposite direction as only one-way traffic will continue to ply on the highway till further orders. Oppn members stage walkout in LS over Unnao rape case issue

💻Jk News info 📰 NEW DELHI : The opposition members from Congress and other parties stage walkout on Wednesday in Lok Sabha registering their strong protest over the manner the Unnao rape case was being handled by the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh. As soon as the House began day’s session, Congress floor leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury raised the issue during Question Hour. He insisted that the Home Minister Amit Shah should make a statement. Amid ruckus as several BJP members raised objections to his remarks, the Congress leader while a CBI has been probed, he alleged that the ‘victims and the family members’ are getting threats. Speaker Om Birla said this issue was raised by the member earlier also. Protesting the conduct of the BJP members in the House and the manner the case was being handled, Mr Chowdhury said his party would stage walkout. DMK members also joined in the walkout.
