BUDGAM, Jan 31: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Budgam, Khurshid Ahmad Sanai today suspended 30 Government employees for remaining absent from duties, during a surprise inspection to various offices in Budgam, Chadoora and Chrar-e-Shareef.
During the inspection 5 employee of Social Welfare Office Budgam, 20 employee of Municipal Committee Chadoora and 05 employees of Municipal Committee Chrar-e-Shareef were found absent from their duties without any authorisation.
The ADDC ordered on the spot suspension of the absent employees. He said that the government has adopted zero tolerance against the dereliction of duties by employees.
He further directed employees to perform their duties regularly in letter and spirit and ensure prompt services to the general public.

Traffic to ply from Jammu to Srinagar for 2nd consecutive day, no vehicle from Kashmir

💻Jk News info 📰 Only Jammu to Srinagar traffic was allowed for the second consecutive day on Saturday on the National Highway, connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country, a traffic police official said. Two-way traffic has been restored on the national highway, which connects Ladakh region with Kashmir while only one-way traffic will continue on historic 86-km-long Mughal road, seen as alternative to Srinagar-Jammu national highway. Traffic official said for the second consecutive day today, only Jammu to Srinagar traffic was allowed. No vehicle will be allowed from opposite direction as only one-way traffic will continue to ply on the highway till further orders. Oppn members stage walkout in LS over Unnao rape case issue

💻Jk News info 📰 NEW DELHI : The opposition members from Congress and other parties stage walkout on Wednesday in Lok Sabha registering their strong protest over the manner the Unnao rape case was being handled by the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh. As soon as the House began day’s session, Congress floor leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury raised the issue during Question Hour. He insisted that the Home Minister Amit Shah should make a statement. Amid ruckus as several BJP members raised objections to his remarks, the Congress leader while a CBI has been probed, he alleged that the ‘victims and the family members’ are getting threats.
