BJP State President Ravinder Raina asked party workers to fix focus on to score minimum of 50 Assembly seats in the State.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the meeting, laid thrust on the relevance of direct communication of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with masses in “Mann Ki Baat” programme.
Raina also spoke on the ‘Sangathan Parv’ and membership drive as its 1st leg, while laying down complete programme to take this membership drive to the booths.
“We must be focussed on how to convert the vote share party has earned during the Lok Sabha elections into the party’s active membership” he said and instructed all the party leaders to progress ahead with the mission mode for achieving the target put forth by the party to attain 17 lakh members of BJP in the State.
Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta said that today, under BJP’s dispensation, a sense of positivity has prevailed upon the whole nation.
He said that the Nation has progressed from a feel of “Kuch Nahin Ho Sakta” to “We Can” and this is due to BJP’s principle of “Nation First, Party Second and Self Last”.
He said that people have accepted the policies of BJP with open heart and the party has progressed on victory path across the Nation, which has further transferred even more responsibilities on party soldiers.
He said that we have to progress on all inclusive paths, touching everyone across the boundaries, even those who have not voted for us in recent elections and invite them into BJP family.
BJP leaders from party’s five organizational districts namely Jammu, Jammu West, Jammu Rural, Akhnoor and RS Pura besides former State President Sat Sharma, State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, State Incharge for membership drive Jugal Dogra, State co-incharge for membership drive Priya Sethi (former MoS), State Vice-President & JMC Councillor Parmod Kapahi, Former Ministers Sham Choudhary, Sukhnandan Choudhary, Sham Sharma, former VC Munish Sharma, Arvind Gupta, Veenu Khanna, Bharat Bhushan, Durga Das, Ashwani, Brijesh Rana, Ayodhya Gupta, Omi Khajuria, Chand ji Bhat also participated in the meeting.
The proceedings of the meeting were carried out by Dr. Narinder Singh.
