  • Application Form Correction – 1st April to 3rd May.

There was news doing the rounds in social media that the JEE Main 2020 exam will happen in the first week of July. NTA labeled this news as untrue and false. There are few changes that are declared by the authorities of JEE MAin 2020; please take a look at them below:

 

  • NTA has announced that the JEE Main 2020 exam to be held in July, is a Fake News.

 

  • There is an increase in the number of JEE Main applicants who will be eligible to take up JEE Advanced. Yes, from now on, 2,50,000 top JEE Main 2020 applicants can sit for JEE Advanced instead of 2,40,000 applicants of the 2019 exam.

 

  • NTA has also allowed applicants to make further changes in the Application Form till 3rd May. Applicants can change the exam center city, images, name, and communication address once again. Any extra fee applicable must be paid as well.

 

  • Now, applicants with benchmark disabilities will be allowed 1 hour extra whether they avail of a scribe or not. This is one welcome change for applicants suffering from various disabilities.

 

  • You will now find Numeric Value Questions in all the three papers. But, there will be no negative marking as such.

 

  • The number of papers is now three instead of two in the previous examinations. You will find here separate papers for B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning.

 

  • The January exam of JEE Main 2020 was successfully conducted. The results are out as well.

 

 

  • As per reports, Physics was the toughest subject in the January exam of JEE Main 2020 for B.Tech/B.E papers. On the other hand, Mathematics was the easiest section of all.
