Advocate Babar Qadri shot dead by unknown gunmen in Kashmir

KNO reports from Indian occupied Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 24: A prominent lawyer from Srinagar, Advocate Babar Qadri was shot dead by the unknown gunmen in Hawal area of Srinagar, officials said.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Advocate Babar Qadri, a young lawyer was fired upon by the unknown gunmen in Hawal area.

They said the Advocate was shifted to SKIMS hospital soon after he was attacked.

However, the officials from SKIMS told KNO that Qadri was declared brought dead at the hospital.

Traffic to ply from Jammu to Srinagar for 2nd consecutive day, no vehicle from Kashmir

💻Jk News info 📰 Only Jammu to Srinagar traffic was allowed for the second consecutive day on Saturday on the National Highway, connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country, a traffic police official said. Two-way traffic has been restored on the national highway, which connects Ladakh region with Kashmir while only one-way traffic will continue on historic 86-km-long Mughal road, seen as alternative to Srinagar-Jammu national highway.
